The Port’s vast storage provides flexibility in both scheduling and transloading operations. Oversized trucks and pilot cars have ample room to maneuver for prestaging and loading as cargo awaits departure. 

FOREIGN TRADE ZONE


Inside the Port’s Foreign Trade Zone, customers can store, assemble or process imported goods to delay duties until the cargo is ready for delivery. Learn more about Foreign Trade Zones.

OPEN STORAGE/ LAYDOWN YARD

Directly adjacent to breakbulk cargo handling docks is 70 acres of open, secure laydown space. Breakbulk and oversized cargo have ample room to be stored, maneuvered, sorted, loaded and unloaded across the Port’s laydown yard from rail or truck. 

COVERED/ ENCLOSED STORAGE


The Port of Longview supports inbound and outbound domestic and foreign shipments with an off-dock warehouse complex. Located within the secure perimeter of the Port, 500,000 square feet of indoor space is available for storage; maintenance, retrofitting and repairs of mechanical components and specialized equipment; and transloading operations. Inventory management and custom warehouse services are available upon request.
